On behalf of the Executive Committee of ADI, I sincerely appreciate the kind initiative taken by Priyobondhu to distribute school kits to the pre-primary/primary students of four JSVN schools. See attached photos below.
Priyobondhu is a social welfare society in Guwahati, Assam, India, founded in November,2015 by Archana Borthakur in pursuit of community development and social change. Over the last three years Archana and her young team have taken up and completed a large number of projects helping women and children, particularly in rural areas.
The “Jeevan Sadhana Vidya Niketan” (JSVN) schools, managed by ADI, currently comprise of four (4) schools; Pachim Kiling, Robingaon. Dharbam and Basistha.
Priyobondhu’s new project “School Kit for a Child” started with distribution of the school kits (comprising of backpacks, water bottles, lunch boxes, notebooks, pencils etc.) to 30 students at Pachim Kiling school on November 22’2018. Archana Borthakur was personally present with some of her teammates. ADI Secretary Rtn. Rajkamal Bhuyan represented the Executive Committee.
